“Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.”
Lao Tzu:
These triptych paintings, , based on New York Abstract Expressionism, read as landscapes. I conceptualized the landscapes as energies, shapes, patterns, and colour. Each triptych painting is to be repainted, 8 feet high by 20 feet long, and exhibited in a large room.
Looking through the lens of abstraction, these paintings articulate the feeling and emotions of the Canadian Landscape in color, marks, form, and composition of abstract expressionism.
All works when reprinted giclee on paper, will be altered slightly.
