Van Gogh and the impressionist painted the beauty of light and colour. In this series. I am looking at the several small areas in Van Gogh ’s paintings, especially his self portraits and sun flowers, exploring the intensity of marks and colour in that space. Included in this exploration is also, the pattern of lines and George Seurat’s Pointillism.
